The new KODAK N2000 series of document scanners (models N2040 and N2050) is hitting the market, taking business scanning to the next level. It represents more than just hardware; it is a comprehensive document digitization strategy—scalable from a single desktop to an entire distributed branch network. These models scan at speeds of up to 50 pages per minute (100 images/min) and can process up to 8,000 pages daily, enabling them to handle even high-volume workloads.

A key strength of the new series is Perfect Page technology combined with unique Dual Light Illumination. This ensures crisp, legible scans—even with challenging originals such as crumpled, textured, or low-contrast documents—on the very first attempt, eliminating the need for time-consuming rescans. The scanners support a wide range of media, from thin paper to rigid cards, and can generate searchable PDF files in 126 languages. The document scanners feature highly intuitive controls via a 3.5″ color touchscreen display.

Corporate data remains secure thanks to the Secure Boot function with signed firmware, which protects the device against unauthorized software. Encrypted communication safeguards data transmission, while Network EasySetup allows a unified configuration to be deployed across the entire fleet of scanners without the need to visit each branch individually. Additionally, KODAK N2000 document scanners meet EPEAT Gold and ENERGY STAR environmental standards, making them not only high-performance devices but also eco-friendly.

Looking Back at a Wonderful Evening at Divadlo Studio DVA

The January evening spent with our clients and business partners in an inspiring environment full of art and a pleasant atmosphere was truly exceptional for us. Together, we enjoyed the brilliant play The Importance of Being Earnest, which underscored the uniqueness of the entire evening. There was also time in the theater lounge for informal conversations, exchanging experiences, and a friendly gathering over a glass of good wine, outside of the work environment.

Thank you to everyone who was part of this special evening – we truly appreciate your participation.

And we are certainly not finished this year! We are already looking forward to more moments together – this time in mid-May, when we will meet on the waves of the Vltava River under Charles Bridge, during the unique Baroque festival Navalis. This traditional celebration of St. John of Nepomuk will offer an unforgettable cultural and spiritual experience in the very heart of Prague.

Introducing new desktop document scanners by Kodak.

The company Kodak Alaris has expanded its portfolio of award-winning document scanners with two powerful and compact models. Modely Kodak E1030 a E1040 poskytují vynikající kvalitu obrazu a jednoduché uživatelské rozhraní pro rychlé a spolehlivé snímání informací.

Tyto nové stolní skenery, podporované špičkovými službami a podporou v oboru včetně tříleté pokročilé záruky na výměnu jednotky, jsou navrženy tak, aby spolehlivě zvyšovaly produktivitu. Technologie Perfect Page přináší konzistentní vysoce kvalitní obraz, který je lepší než originál. Nová funkce Dual Illumination eliminuje stíny a další artefakty, které často vznikají při skenování poškozených předloh, a dále zlepšuje kvalitu obrazu a přesnost optického rozpoznávání znaků (OCR). Skenery řady E1000 jsou rovněž vybaveny rozhraním USB 3.2 a automatickým podavačem dokumentů (ADF) na 80 stran.

Skenery Kodak řady E1000 jsou díky svým kompaktním rozměrům ideální pro stolní použití v malých a středních firmách, na pobočkách, recepcích a administrativních pracovištích a v podnicích se vzdálenými pracovníky. Skenery E1000 jsou schopny zpracovat až 40 stran za minutu a poradí si s různými formáty a gramážemi papíru, včetně tvrdých karet. Volitelné pasové příslušenství nebo integrované ploché příslušenství formátu A4/Legal umožňují skenování dokumentů pro specializované potřeby a choulostivé dokumenty.

Skenery Kodak E1030 a E1040 se snadno nastavují a používají. Kancelářští pracovníci mohou začít skenovat ihned po vybalení. Intuitivní ovládací panel LED usnadňuje jejich integraci do podnikových procesů a aplikací a technologie Smart Touch umožňuje přizpůsobení pracovních postupů skenování jednoduchým jedním dotykem.

Kodak Alaris has received the BLI Scanner Line of the Year 2023 award from BLI.

The company Keypoint Intelligence has awarded Kodak Alaris the Buyers Lab (BLI) 2023 Scanner Line of the Year. Toto prestižní ocenění získala společnost Kodak Alaris již posedmé za posledních osm let. Toto ocenění každoročně získává produktová řada, která je na základě přísných laboratorních hodnocení několika dodavatelů považována za celkově nejlepší.

„Pokud jde o skenování dokumentů, Kodak Alaris je králem,“ řekl Lee Davis, senior analytik v kancelářské skupině Keypoint Intelligence. „Naše testování ukázalo, že skenery Kodak Alaris poskytují ve srovnání s konkurencí vynikající manipulaci s médii, kvalitu obrazu, přesnost OCR, kompresi souborů a možnosti automatizace pracovního postupu.“

„Jsme nesmírně hrdí na to, že společnost Keypoint Intelligence opět ocenila naše komplexní portfolio produktů. Toto ocenění potvrzuje naše odborné znalosti v oblasti kvality obrazu, vysoce přesného získávání dat a úspěšné automatizace procesů,“ řekl Don Lofstrom, prezident a generální ředitel společnosti Kodak Alaris. „Investice do výzkumu a vývoje a závazek k inovacím jsou na seznamu našich priorit, abychom mohli splnit náš slib, že budeme poskytovat řešení, která pomohou podnikům rychle a efektivně přeměnit papírové informace na použitelná digitální data.“

Toto vítězství přichází v návaznosti na oznámení, že skener Kodak S3140 Max získal také ocenění 2023 Pick Award od společnosti Keypoint Intelligence. Lee Davis ze společnosti Keypoint Intelligence jej popsal jako ideální volbu pro kancelářská prostředí s velkým podílem papíru. Skenery Kodak Alaris navíc jako první úspěšně prošly testovacím programem společnosti Keypoint Intelligence pro iniciativu FADGI (Federal Agencies Digital Guidelines Initiative), což organizacím pomáhá zajistit, aby jejich digitální záznamy byly plně v souladu s federálním mandátem ještě před jeho uplynutím.
