Book scanner delivery
The Regional Digitization Unit was established in 2012 as part of the project Digitization and Storage in the Vysočina Region, which aimed to provide municipalities, towns and organizations of public and cultural administration with tools for the creation, preservation and use of digital documents and thus easier access to the cultural heritage of the region. The Regional Digitisation Unit is a workplace equipped with appropriate scanners and computer technology for digitisation of physical documents, subsequent processing of scans and creation of metadata. The Regional Digitisation Unit (RDU) is operated by the Regional Library of Vysočina.

Challenge
Book scanner deliveryfor the Digitization and storage project in the Vysočina Region.
Solution
In 2012, we participated in the delivery of a large-capacity robotic book scanner DL-mini-C from 4DigitalBooks for the Digitization and Storage project in the Vysočina Region.
For image processing and editing we supplemented the scanner with HMI scanning software and Page Improver software from the same manufacturer. We currently provide full service.
